Macbeth, 1784.

The adaptation by Jean Franc̜ois Ducis, first produced and published in 1790, a scribal transcript, with many alterations in the scribal hand, chiefly on small slips attached by wax wafers, and many interlinear alterations in the hand of S.b.28, presumably Ducis's autograph. Text shows version used and changes made during the first few performances.
